Why In the everlovin world is it so expensive to rent an apartment that looks nice and has everything you want?
Periodically, i look at whats available for rent just to see if there might be something better than what we have now, that is cheaper.. (HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA)
it seems like the ones i find that i like, that look good fall into the following catergories:
-restricted income(and we dont make enough or in some cases we make too much)
- senior apartments(and we are not 55+ nor are we 62+)
- rent is insanely high
- nothing available
-too far from job
and the ones that are possibly available are either in a horseshit area of town, or they are completely dumpy looking and in serious need of updates to get them into this century!
i just cant wrap my head around why someone would want to pay 2,3,5,7 or 10k a month to rent an apartment, nor can i understand why some would want a place that doesn't look like its been updated since the 70s...
basically to get something nice a guess you have to win the lottery which totally sucks! as IMHO all apartments complexes should look nice have elevators, and have up to date A/C units and appliances and laundry rooms in each apartment as well . and utilities included- and garages to park in.
