The Essentials of Prayer
by Edward M. Bounds
FREEBIE
Religious & Inspirational
Rating: 4.8

Christians who pray well, who bring the largest things to pass, and who move God to do great things, are those who are entirely given over to God in their praying. God wants, and must have, all that there is in us. We must be wholehearted people through whom he can work out his purposes and plans concerning us.

God must have us in our entirety. No double-minded people need apply. No vacillating person can be used. No person with a divided allegiance to God, the world, and self can do the praying that is needed...

Procrastination station!

Good Morning! happy weekend, happy saturday!    how many of you are procrastinators?  (raises hand)  I am for sure.. especially when it comes to things i know i have to do, like cleaning.

take today for example, i should be washing the load of bedding so i can  change the bed... but, the thought of lugging my hamper down 3 flights of stairs(3rd floor apt, laundry is on first floor) to do laundry just isn't appealing.  i mean i know it needs to be done, but, yet here i sit- writing blog posts.. and putting it off(LOL)

I really wish we had a washer/dryer in our apartment... but, as they were built in the early 1970s, no dice... we also don't have an elevator.. which makes moving in or out real "fun".

i suppose i should keep this short, wrap it up and go do laundry...  have a great saturday!
