WOOHOO ITS FIRDAY!!!! We made it to the end of another work week!... and to day is also the last friday of August.... holy crap did the month go fast-- or is it just me?

hope everyone had a great week, and that your weekend is full of fun and family... stay safe, and follow the proper guidelines and protocol for your area whatever you do this weekend.

Exactly 4 months from today, we will be gathering with family to attend Christmas eve services, and putting the finishing touches on packages,  prepping for christmas morning breakfast, and Christmas dinner- where laughs and stories will be shared along with memories of loved ones that are no lnoger with us.

the christ child figure will be place in our nativity scenes and milk and cookies  and reindeer food will be put out for santa and his reindeer.

ready or not... it will be here before we know it!

An Irish Blessing for Sunday August 22nd 2021

 

Sunday blessings to all my readers and their families.. can you believe there are only 9 days left of the month?

It has been a long HOT, DRY summer!

 Where i live we have had a record number of 90 and higher days (over 2 dozen at last count)  and we are at least 6 inches below normal on rainfall.

lawns, and grassy areas are brown and for lack of a better word, CRISPY (LOL)  watering restrictions are in place...

then you throw in all the smoke we have have been getting from the canadian wildfires, and even on the rare cooler nice days we still have to keep windows closed and run our air conditioners  cause the air quality is too bad to have windows open to let the fresh air in.. hopefully we get a change for the better by end of August beginning of Sept,, my electric bill would be eternally grateful!

WE did it!  we made it to the end of another work week.. only 11 days left of this month,  fall will be here before we know it and it will be football season again..  hope everyone had a good week at work! have a great weekend everyone!

Donnie Wahlberg was born August 17th 1969, he is the 8th of 9 children..  he is very talented he is a singer in the popular  group that first got together in the 80s - "new Kids on the block"  the group went their separate ways in 1994, but reunited in 2008 and are still making beautiful music together in 2021.

in addition to singing donnie has written and and produced music.  he is also a talented actor, starring in such films as band of brothers, sixth sense, and the TV show "blue bloods" about a police family in NY.

Donnie is married to Jenny McCarthy, he has two grown sons xavier, and elijah from his first marriage and Jenny has a grown son Evan for her first marriage.

Come on Monday-- Bring it!!  we are up and doing our "mousercise"  (lol that was a funny show, but it was on super early)  we can handle you..  I hope everyone has a great start to their week! and I hope monday doesn't kick you in the rear too hard.

Throwback Thursday 8/12/2021

Esleep  Pajamas?  i think everyone had them "back in the day"   I had a long sleeve flannel shirt i wore with sweatpants or pj bottoms..   I also had a flannel set where the shirt was long sleeved and it had flannel shorts-- they were like my favorite pajamas EVER! so comfortable!!

i wish they would bring them back, i would so rock them!
